Reapplicant- Need help with school list

Like the post says, I'm a reapplicant and need help with my school list. Last year I was complete mid October, with a 3.76 GPA and 30 MCAT (7PS 11VR 12BS). I applied to mostly northeast schools (PA, NY, DC) with some other ones scattered around that fit my stats and I was waitlisted at one school. I retook the the MCAT and unfortunately got a 30 again, but at least it's more balanced (8PS 11VR 11BS) and I should be complete with everything early-mid August.
I've been out of school two years now working in a lab, and since the last application I have added clinical volunteering which I didn't have before, as well as more non-clinical volunteering and more shadowing.
I'd like to reapply to all of the PA schools (PA resident), but I'm not sure about other ones. I know I'm going to leave off schools that get tons of applications like BU and GWU, but want some ideas of others one that would fit. I also didn't apply DO last year, but am going to this year. Any thoughts?

Rowan - School of Osteopathic Medicine, NJ
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine - Erie/Seton Hill, PA
New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of NYIT, NY
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, PA
Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, NY


I am applying to the above DO schools if that helps and I am a NJ resident so perhaps we are in a similar enough region for your tastes. Those are all in the area though and I did not include many schools that were geographically distant from me. I know from discussing it with the DO's that I volunteer with that UMDNJ SOM (Now Rowan SOM) is a very good school and they had a great experience there. That is out of state for you though.

Perhaps Lake Erie and Philadelphia are your best choices if you want to stay in-state?

The imbalanced MCAT might be hurting but sometime you have to take it on the chin and see how things shake out. I suspect that you lots of luck witht he DO schools, including mine.

Suggest trying all new MD programs (if you in NE PA, definitely try Commonwealth) in NY, CT, FL, MI, VA and maybe AZ. Also try all low-tier MD schools, like NYMC and Rosy Franklin. And get cracking...for MD schools, early is better!

Okay thanks, I was avoiding gwu and Georgetown just because they get so many apps. And I've already submitted my primary with the PA schools, but wanted some help with the others. I should be verified within the next week and a half hopefully, so I wanted to finalize my list and add those and start prewriting the secondaries!

Stony Brook only accepts IS... as far as I remember. Double check with the MSAR!
