Hey guys,
I recently took the MCAT in June but didn't do too well on it. I was planning on retaking it this summer but couldn't find any available dates. I know it's a little late, well really late, to apply right now, but my plan was to just apply so when I retake the MCAT next year and reapply next June, I would be a reapplicant.
Now, I was always under the impression that it is better to be a reapplicant and you have more of a chance of getting in. However, I was talking to a medical school counselor the other day and she told me that she had never heard of such a thing.
My question is, should I even bother applying then or is it a waste of money? I'm not at a financial burden but don't really have that kind of money to burn.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I really appreciate any feedback. 🙂
