does anyone know if pharmcas saves your information so that you don't have to resend things such as transcripts, ELOR, etc.

does anyone know whether schools keep files of old applicants to see if he/she reapplies? or if schools do crosschecks btw old application and new application to see what he/she has done the past year?

is there anyone who has been accepted that has no or very few leadership roles? the only leadership roles i have are in my hs years, would that be a good thing to put in my application or would that be out of date?

plz help

Unfortunately pharmCAS does not save your stuff. You have to resubmit your transcripts and stuff again the next year.

Depending on the school, sometimes they do keep things like LORs on file. You should check with each school though. If you are reapplying to a school, the school usually will have a section where they will ask you if you are a reapplicant. Usually you check a box and it will ask you when you first applied. Sometimes the school will ask if what you have done differently this time around.

As far as the leadership thing, not sure if you want to list things from high school since it's kind of old but I guess it doesn't hurt?

I have heard that some schools keep your LORs and essays on file and will throw them in with everything when you reapply. This means if you are using the same LORs and essays they will see you didn't put in as much effort on that. I don't know which schools do this but it seems like a good idea to have your recommendations updated with some stuff you did during your year off and make sure your essays are consistent but updated and not word-for-word the same.

If all you've got is high school it can't hurt to throw it in - better than having nothing? But check with the school, some specify that they want things AFTER high school, so make sure you're following directions. In an open file interview, they may ask why you have stuff from high school but nothing in college so have an answer prepared. 🙂
