I applied 2 years ago, got a little bit off track and focused on work, but am planning on applying this year. I just wanted some advice from my peers on my application.
I guess my main question is to retake DAT or not to retake it? I'm having trouble balancing work/studying (I guess this is not an excuse, but I'm just so mentally exhausted when I come home!!) but am thinking about retaking it mid to late July...
Do you think mid-late July is too late to retake the DAT?
My scores from last time are:
AA - 19
PAT - 17
QR - 18
RC - 20
BIO - 20
GC - 18
OC - 18
TS - 19
I graduated in 2008 with a b.s. Biology/minor in Chem with a 3.2 overall GPA and a science GPA around 3.0. I have fairly good shadowing hours and have continued shadowing these past few months. I currently do research in cell biology, have been published on 2 different papers, and have 3-4 more in progress.
I applied to 10 schools pretty late 2 years ago (December/Jan), got interviewed, waitlisted, and finally rejected from (NYU). I'm planning on applying ASAP this year.
Anyways, I'd really appreciate any advice and/or comments. Thanks!
