I'm still waiting to hear from the one school I interviewed with.. in the meantime I am applying to a biomedical science masters program. When do I make application again? This program is 11 months.. starts in June and finishes in April. Should I apply June of 2018 or wait until June of 2019 after I finish this program? My GPA is 3.89 overall and science.. I have an AA 22... over 200 shadowing hours and lots of ECs. Advice?

Advice: Don't do the Masters.
They are typically set up for improving your GPA. Your GPA does not need to be improved. In fact, doing the Masters could cause you to end up with a lower GPA. Not a risk that I would be willing to take. Your DAT is also good. I'd look into other reasons as to why you only were interviewed at one school and why they didn't accept you. Be sure that the answer to those questions does not lie in your GPA or DAT score.

You can go to a masters, but to me it looks like your stats are not the issue here. To be honest you're shadowing looks good, and although you say that you have alot of ec's I don't know what they are. That leaves your PS and LOR's. If you have a bad LOR it may have hurt you and if you have a bad PS that may do the same. You can do a masters, but again I dont think thats the issue. Its odd to me that you only had one interview with those stats. Can you tell me where you are from and where you applied to?
Edit: After doing some digging, I saw you were arrested, and while it was expunged you still told the schools? Why? If its not there why say something? Also you getting a second arrest doesn't help youre cause. Sorry my friend, but unless you get it expunged AND don't say anything when you reapply you may be in trouble and have a hard time getting into school. Master's programs don't fix arrests.
