Do I have to go get new LOR?
Do I have to go get another committee interview?
Anything else I should know?

I think it depends on what the "weak area" of your application is and working on rectifying those.

If you have some weaker LORs and feel like you can get stronger ones, then go for it.
My school doesn't have a committee interview, so I can't speak to that.

Thanks for the reply. I have excellent LOR. That's why I don't want to get new ones. I just wanted to know if we had to

I am a re-applicant and I used all of the same letters and added one more. As long as your letters are fine then you don't need new ones. Although one new one might be nice if you have new experiences this year.

I never got a committee letter for any application cycle**, so I don't know about that.

**I kind of got some kind of committee letter once. What I did was have the director of a free clinic draft a LOR and then have as many doctors co-sign the letter as were comfortable. They all knew me really well cuz I was there all the time.

I would try and get some other letter from a new activity or something. I always tried to add just a little more of something in most areas just so I knew they wouldn't be looking at the exact same application (if they rejected it once, why would they not just reject the same thing next time). I would just try and build a little on everything (with the exception of the MCAT score if you are satisfied with it and it will not expire).

It's fine to use the same LOR but make sure you have the writer update the year on it. It looks really bad to submit an LOR with a date that is over a year old. Also, if you ask a few of your LOR writers to update the letters and include how you have improved your application, that can be helpful.
I know reapplying can be very stressful, but keep your head up. Good Luck!

I'm a reapplicant. I used the same letter writers and added one new one this year. I wrote out exactly what had changed in my application, sent them it, and met with each writer to discuss these changes and just generally reapplying. I told them to feel free to modify the letters they had written me last year. I had strong LORs last year and even stronger ones this year - almost all my interviewers made comments.

However, I'm sure people have reapplied and used the same LORs, PS, secondaries, etc. and still gotten in. I just felt that I had changed a lot as a person and I wanted to showcase that, so I got new-ishletters, rewrote all my secondaries, and completely started over with my PS.
