Hi all.

I'm a re-applicant. My science GPA is around 2.9. My average GPA is 3.2. My DAT is average ~19, i'm going to take again in July shooting for 21. so here is my question: what dental schools do you suggest that I should apply with my stat said above? which ones I had good chance get in?

Anyway, do you know any dental schools that have low requirement? Since this is my second time applying, I want to have at least 3 or 4 safety school so that in the worst case i still had some chance. any advice or suggestion is appreciated.

btw, i live in Virginia.

Thanks,
Cauhoi.

i would do the virginia schools for sure. go to predents and check stats for the applicant/seat ratios. If you bring up that DAT i think your chances are good.

i think you will find alot of help on predents.com concerning your question. just go to the 2007 applicant pool and you should be able to pick some schools from there. they have all the stats for the schools including cum gpa, science gpa, and DAT/PAT. basically all the info you would ever need for school stats is on there... good luck

You may want to call up a couple schools and ask them if you'd be competitive with your GPA.

Apply to many schools as possible. I'm thinking of 30+ schools.
