Reapply next cycle while on waitlist? and vacation

Hey I was just wondering if it is possible that I can reapply while on the waitlist of some schools? Right now I am waitlisted (and supposedly in good standing with the adcom) at Jefferson and Temple. I would LOVEE to go to Jefferson but I do not want to miss applying early if it does not work out. I am from Delaware so we have a DIMER program at Jeff where there are about 20 seats that are held for DE residents. I have like 6 friends who are highly capable and are waitlisted at Jeff too who are from DE.

Also I will be traveling overseas for three different weeks for a weeks time to England, China, and Japan. I should probably notify the adcom right? I just don't want it to hurt their decision process. I have been on the waitlist for around 7-8 months so excuse me for a little paranoia 😉

I think reapplying would be a very very good idea. You'll be glad you did so if things don't work out with the waitlist.
