It may become harder for all international students to get a US residency in future years, since US medical schools (MD and DO) are increasing their number of admitted students these past few years, while residency programs have not expanded. They might, but nobody really knows...
I believe there are a small number of Caribbean medical students who are US citizens who manage to transfer back into the US and finish med school here, but that number is tiny. I personally have never met someone who successfully did this...most medical schools in the US either take no transfer students, or do so only under very very limited circumstances. Certainly you should not go to Ross or any other Caribbean school with the thought that you'll likely be able to transfer out. You should either not go at all, or go with the realization that that is where you are going to finish your degree.
Please tell us whether you've ever applied to US schools, and if you did not, then why not?
