Hey Everybody,

If you are rejected post-interview from a school that hands out very few post-interview rejections (eg - only 10% of applicants), would it be a waste of money to reapply? My sense is that I totally botched the MMI. I would love to give it another shot, but I definitely don't have a lot of money to spare (or time to write new secondary responses, for that matter).

Thanks for any input.

Waitlist then rejection, or straight up rejection?

Also, any other schools? Are you sure you have to reapply?

Straight up rejection. If I had been waitlisted, I would definitely give it another shot. However, since VERY few people are actually rejected right off the bat, I figure I must have really blown the interview.

I've received three IIs this cycle and am sitting on one waitlist. Not 100% sure I will have to reapply, but things are looking decidedly grim at this point.

Plenty of fish in the sea -- e.g. lots of other medical schools out there. If you need to reapply, reapply elsewhere instead of here.
