I'm reapplying this year. I'm thinking about submitting same animal and veterinary description ((and even essay!!!)). Do you guys think it would be bad?
I'm trying to focus on studying GRE (in the last minute😛) to get better scores.
I would appreciate you guys feed back!

I definately would add/change your descriptions of you experiences! As for your essay, since this is a re-application, clearly it didn't work the first time, so a re-write is probably warranted. For all you know, the schools probably keep your previous application on file, and may gauge your genuine interest by comparing the two applications.

Hmmm,. I think you're right since I was interviewed and they looked at my application carefully. Going through same process is painful~~ esp. describing same thing in another words....... Thanks for your answer🙂*

Honestly, I copied and pasted a lot of my vet, animal, volunteer and job descriptions. I had put so much time into making them the perfect length without repeating the same adjectives over and over, that trying to re-write them would have been useless. I re-read them all and tweaked here and there, but on the whole I didn't change much.

I completely re-wrote my personal statement and explanation statements though =)

I know Ohio State looks at both apps. and I imagine most other schools do too. Keeping the same descriptions for the animal/vet experience isn't bad but I would rework your PS. Did you do a consult interview? What did they tell you to improve. If they said it was due to your GRE/GPA then that is great that you are improving. Try to work in to your PS what now makes you a better applicant.

I agree on rewriting the PS, unless you're 100% sure that's not what kept you out the first time (did you do the post-mortem interviews with the schools that rejected you?).

I wouldn't re-word all of your descriptions just for the sake of making them *different* from the first app. Change them if you think you can make them *better*. And while re-using good descriptions of past experiences from your last app seems fine, hopefully you've got new stuff to add too...?
