I am planning on re applying for the fall 08 entering class. Two questions: 1. Should I rewrite my personal essay? 2. Would it benefit me to take undergrad courses if my GPA is on the low side?
PS I applied fairly late last time (December), which I know hurt me a great deal.
 
well aadsas already sent out their first batch so technically you should have already applied since you had one year to prepare?

1. make it better...dont just rewrite it. i dont know if you will have time since you should submit your application asap

2. isnt it a bit late to take undergrad classes? what did you do this year?
 
well i just graduated from college a month ago, so I wasnt sure if I should continue taking courses. I think i can still get into the second summer session for classes which may be beneficial.
 
^it sounds like you really want to take extra classes. getting one or two extra As wont raise your gpa significantly. it might be more beneficial if you applied earlier like now? instead of waiting until you finish your 2nd summer session then submitting transcrips then waiting for your gpa to be verified.

the decision is really up to you. you know yourself best. we are here only to give suggestions that you might have not thought of or overlooked. we are not admissions committee members so what we tell you might not even be right....
