It's already April and I dont think I'll get acceptance letter... I got interviews with NYU, USC, Baylor, LECOM. SGpa is 3.5 and ogpa is 3.5 as well. I have c+ on biochem lab and immunobiology and D on genetics. 40 hrs of shadowing. Some leadership experiences. Fine PS. But I applied to 8 schools. 2 texas schools (im texas resident), nyu, case, penn, lecom, usc, michigan. Actually, I applied 13, but I had issues with 5 schools (incomplete course requirements or didnt do supp). My dat score as 20AA 20 TS 24 PAT, and 17 on RC..

Im sure ill retake those classes with c and d and get at least b on them. Other than that, I dont know what I can do to improve my apllication. Any suggestions??

I don't think the grades are a problem, and neither is your DAT. I would call the schools that you interviewed at and ask how you can improve your application for the next cycle. Taking upper level bio courses and getting an A would benefit you more than retaking a class that you should be expected to get an A in the second time around. 40 hours of shadowing isn't much either. Get at least 100, do research, volunteer more, work on your ECs. There are tons of ways to improve an app. You may even want to revise your PS.

Did you get outright rejected after your interviews? Were you waitlisted?

Aside from the C and the D on your transcript, your stats look fine. Were there extenuating circumstances for those grades? Perhaps this time around focus on your interviewing skills. It seems like you looked good enough on paper to land the interviews but maybe you didn't prepare enough for the face-to-face talks?

Well, I didnt get any rejection yet. And yeah I have legitimate reason for those grades. I had to run family business as a manager. And its just that semester that I blew up and ended up with 1.43 gpa, but I picked it up after that semester and managed to get better grades. And well.. I thought I did okay on interview.. I really dont know when and where went this gome wrong
