I used the SOAP to get into a 4 year program. My question is how will i be affected if i reapply to a different specialty 4 year program such as a DO EM program. I know my last years salary will be a problem and was just wondering how common it is for DO programs to be willing to cover the last year. I know some programs have a combined EM/IM or EM/FP residency so I think that the last year of that isnt covered by medicare either so not sure how this all works.
