I graduated in the Winter with a BS in Psychobiology. I applied last year to pharm school but didn't get in... I had a cum GPA of around 2.7 and a sci GPA of around 2.6 (goodness), didn't take the PCAT. I volunteered at a pharmacy for five years, had many ex-curriculars (both pharm and non-pharm related). I'm now deciding what I should do in terms of increasing my chances of admission the next time around. I am currently working at a hospital as a clinical lab tech and volunteering at a local pharmacy.
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding the topic of re-taking classes over at a CC vs a state? If I do take them over at a state, do I need to go through the whole application process as if I were entering as a freshman? What else can I do to increase my chances of getting offered admission next year? Any tips? Thanks in advance!
