I got rejected from asdoh for the class of 2010, but I plan on reapplying this cycle. Is there anybody out there who got accepted to asdoh after reapplying and what changes did you make?

Generally people who reapply to ANY school make changes in any of these categories:

retake classes or takeing more classes
retake DAT
post bacc
volunteer work or job
more extracurriculars/hobbies
shadowing

And then there's also improvements on your personal statements and other sections of your application.

Have you asked them why you were rejected? And maybe what they were looking for that can improve on? ASDOH is known for having somewhat selective criteria outside what most dental schools look for. Many times they don't accept the applicants with the best scores because they're looking for individuals that will fit their school's philosophy. Try PMing ItsGavin, he probably knows more about ASDOH admissions than anyone else on the site.

My waitlist letter from ASDOH actually stated that if I was not chosen this year, that they do not give out information regarding improving/changing your application for the next year. So, lots of luck getting that from them!

Make sure you're not short on volunteering/community service stuff and then like the previous posters said, retake the DAT if needed and keep taking classes... 😕
