I noticed a bunch of people pre-write secondaries which is no big deal since the old prompts are out. Personally, I haven't started writing specifics yet but I've outlined some of what I'm going to write. What is a reasonable time to submit secondaries? I know people are going to say "as soon as possible", but is there really a difference between submitting 1 day vs 1 week vs 2 weeks?

I didn't prewrite any secondaries.
I had most of them in within a week, but one within 2. It was MD and the longest secondary in the world.
I would recommend shooting for a week, but as long as you're in within a couple weeks I don't think it's a bid deal.

Two weeks is the unsaid "rule". But quicker is probably better

Depends on when you apply/receive them. Early in the cycle a reasonable time is say 3 weeks (although your neuortic premed nerves will be screaming at you to write faster). Its not an app killer to take even longer since its early in the cycle but it also just shoukdnt take that long to write an essay. Later in the cycle 1 week tops.
