Rec Letters from DO

Do most DO schools require a rec letter from a DO? I know I saw a list/thread someone posted here once, but I could not find it after searching a while.

I have one from an MD I work with, but will most schools really want to see one from a DO?

In short, yes. The MD letter will be good to have, but it is also important to Osteopathic Medical Schools that you are able to demonstrate evidence that you are familiar with the practice of a D.O.

If you go to the admissions requirements of the individuals schools you will find that most strongly suggest a letter from a D.O.
