Hey y'all,

I was at a informational session for a medical school and one of the admissions officers said that they wanted the two science prof letters to be from basic science classes. However, I was wondering if it's ok to have a letter of rec from an upper level science teacher instead of the premed req classes? Is this acceptable at most schools?

Thanks.

Your best best is to call the medical schools themselves. Best wishes
