Received/Application Complete= rejection?

Hi all,
I am very worried because I haven't received any interview invites yet...
I just checked my status on AADSAS: The following schools just changed their status

USC: Received/Application Complete (On AADSAS)
Under Review (On USC website)

Boston: Received/Under review

Columbia: Received/ Under review

UCSF: the status for UCSF changed a while ago to "Received/Application Complete"


Other schools I applied are still blank (Pacific, Tufts, NYU, Western and Temple)

What do you guys think??

Are those with under review= rejection?

My AADSAS was mailed out on 7/7/08 and all other secondary fees are paid right away too...

under review means exactly what it says.....under review. Neither accepted nor rejected.

I am just hoping it's not same as reviewed but no decision...sigh..not getting an interview feels like getting a rejection though.

For those of you getting interviews from the schools, is your status on AADSAS remained blank?

No, they go to under review, and then go to interview if and when that happens.

Under Review means under review, it is very much a good sign

Anyone else have anything on their AADSAS status page for UCSF? I turned in my secondary late july and my status is still blank, although I received an email that said my app was complete.

I received an email saying that they have received my secondary app back in mid Aug. Then later, my AADSAS status changed to Received/Application Complete...

Anyone else have anything on their AADSAS status page for UCSF? I turned in my secondary late july and my status is still blank, although I received an email that said my app was complete.

In my case, it was blank until this Monday (changed to Received/Under review). I called the school on Wednesday and asked for my app status.
I was told that my file has been given to one of their faculty for a review and it usually takes 3 days. When I checked my email on that evening, an invitation had arrived. Thus, if you are going thru the same process as I have, your app has not been fully processed and it's not under review yet.

But, some people had the "Received/under review" for as long as 3 weeks before they heard from the school. Others' status was blank until they received the invitation.

Now, it's "Invited for Interview," but it was "Received/Under Review."

It updated today, so I will call on Monday and see what Additional Information they need, I sent my secondary already, perhaps it has not been collected yet

Interesting, but I already interviewed at Creighton and my status says "received, under review"

I may be wrong, but I swear I think my UCSF thing said "Received/Under Review" before but now it says "Received/Waiting Additional Information."

You know, I'm probably wrong about that, but whatever. I'm going to call on Monday too and make sure everything is okay.

I have that too! it says my DAT scores are missing, but that can't be I selected them as my first 5 in the free sending scores. Does anyone know what it means? and should I call? Thanks!

today, my UOP status on AADSAS just changed to "Received/Under Review..."

If you look at USC's website...in bold red letters it says updated July 2008 above the Application Status link...therefore using their website is using information two months old..a lot changes in two months.

I just called USC and the lady said that AADSAS status is slower than their USC webstie status.

LOL that is too funny, because I called Monday and was told that their website status isn't always up-to-date and to check AADSAS for the most accurate update 😛 Then I got a letter today that says my application has completed preliminary review and will remain underconsideration ( = no invite, but no rejection) and a bunch of stats about their September 2008 entering class.

I interviewed at MWU last week, but my AADSAS section is still blank for MWU. I think whether or not your status on AADSAS is updated is totally random, varies from school to school and even sometimes students to students within the same college.

under review is when it is actually at the admissions committee, application complete is before it has gone to be reviewed by the admissions committee, at least that's what i was told

people, they are the same thing,
actually i called and asked directly to the admission office.
not only that, i got an inverview from school that had status like

received/application complete.
