I had taken two summer courses during high school at a local university. I had audited both of the courses and didn't try that hard on them. As I am preparing to apply to medical school, I have just found out that I need to list these courses on my med school applications. On of the courses, it says AUD. However, another one says NC (no credit). How does this look on applications? Will these factor into my GPA?

I'd check with the registrar and your pre-health advising office. I'm slightly surprised they'd appear on your transcript period — at my undergrad, audited courses didn't appear anywhere. Regardless, a "NC" is different from an F I think (or a fail in a P/F course) so it shouldn't factor in

Yes, apparently the courses appear on the transcript as an AUD or NC. I'm wondering how this looks for med school admissions

Then it doesn't hurt you. You audited a course, you're not claiming it for credit
