Recent DAT scores (QR= 16)

Hi guys, ok by the things I've been reading on the site alot of people have got good scores lately except for the QR 16, that is my sitution too 21/22 DAT/ PAT and 16 on QR 😱. and everything else over 20, is there any thing we could do like call somewhere and complain? I'm really getting pissed if it in fact is the system's problem.

ok maybe you havn't realized so many people have been getting the same score. I say maybe it was a computer problem. I am good in math I was shocked with my score and I didn't really run out of time either so maybe there is something wrong with the computers.

I think everyone is so focused on the sciences and PAT that people put QR on the back burner (like myself) and end up with a bad score. I doubt there is any computer error going on.

umm, i dun think so, but i guess if u really want u can call ADA customer service and tell them what u think......

maybe u can tell them how high the RC scores for many people have been...
if u look at the RC avg on ada's website, it's much higher than any other single section avg

You can have them manually score the exam if you like. They go thru your answers and verify whether you got them correct. However, it'd suck when then they tell you you both suck at math and have an ego cuz the computer's right.

Computers can make errors too, just like that stupid gchem problem thats been going around...if you feel there is an error, then just call them up and tell them to grade it manually...

Now U see why I'm pissed, I actually am pretty good in math so that is why I was shocked, any ways I emailed them and I'll probably call too.

I just tend to read really fast and naturally I skip sentences so I took about 6-7 minute on the reading and 13-14 min on questions.

I got ramforte's back! There was something wrong with the late August QR test. Math is MY SUBJECT and here are my Scores:
PAT --24
BIO --20
CHE --25
OChe--21
RC -- 21
QR -- 16
AA --21
TS -- 21

And I had been studying QR everyday for the two weeks prior because all of my firends were pulling 16-18 and that was NOT going to happen to me. The studying made QR feel very easy for me. I though I might have missed 5 or 6. There is no way that I missed 20!

I remember someone mentioned that it is indeed possible to have them manually regrade your exams, you just gotta called ADA and ask. I think it costs like 50 bucks or something though.

I'm feelin' like the computer scored it as it was told to but the key MUST be messed up. I think they would just use the same key. There is NO WAY they are going to work out the problems to make sure the key is correct.

I agree... I wonder why people are doing soo badly in math - i noticed the same problem - i'm good at math, and yet i only got a 17 on it... when all my scores are well above that.

hey guys ok so what do we do? should we call them up and let them know, I sent an email last week still no answer. if it's computer mistake then it should be solved, I don't know what to do. At the same time even though QR is keeping my AA down, it is stil the least important so maybe we'll be all right. I hope so, anyways let me know if anyone decides to act on it, I got your back.

If I was in this situation, I would definately pay the $50 to have someone go over the exam. In math terms, $50 < Having to take the DAT again and spending another summer preparing for it.
