Recent DMU news?

Anybody heard any recent DMU news? I interviewed on October 13th, and haven't heard yet. Anyone else in my boat?

I interviewed on the 14th and haven't heard. However, when I was there many of the students said it took about 10-14 days. I am getting anxious, I really liked the school and would like to know if it would be a possiblity or not.

Do you think that if the committee met last Friday or tomorrow to discuss the interviews of Oct. 13-14 that they might review the interviews from Oct. 21 as well? I'm just anxious because that is when I interviewed and would like to hear back soon.

no clue, I know of some people that have heard back in like 6 days, others it has taken longer.

Just heard, via e-mail. Got my acceptance to DMU. Very pumped. Defintitely my top DO choice.

Congratulations! I can't wait to hear my news, but sounds like I might have to wait longer since I just interviewed last week.

I am in!!!!! I am cancelling my other interviews except for AZCOM. Since it is in my home state, I want to look at their school also. But DMU is a lock for sure which is my top choice at this time.

If I don't get into my state school (much cheaper), then it's definitely DMU for me.

I just got my acceptance e-mail today. I'm sooooo excited cause DMU was hands down my #1 choice.
I received my invite to interview the day after my file was complete.

It was only a couple of days after my file was complete. I don't remember exactly.

I am all for it, the only thing is if I get into my instate school I have not made the decision of which I would choose, but I am leaning towards DMU.

Well, interviewed on the 21st, got an email today stating that I was on their alternate list (is that the same as a waitlist?!). I must have stunk up in my interview. Feeling kind of dejected. My MCAT was four points above their average, but my GPA was 1/10th below. I was hoping that my difficult courseload could be taken into account. Maybe it was and I just sucked at the interview process. The odd thing was I met people that had gotten scholarship with less steller academic creds than me....I guess I better do better on my next few interviews!

Anyway, congrats to all those that got in!
