My college roommate's brother graduated from Tufts in 2018. He did a 1 year GPR in Kansas. He initially did a job at private practice, but didn't like the boss, so quit; joined corporate and quit again, then decided to just do the 1 year GPR. He told me it is a good idea bc you learn implants and molar endo, but some GPRs are more like a 5th year of dental school that doesn't teach much, so depends where you go according to him.
