So I'm looking at course descriptions of various prerequisites at a university that I plan on attending after I graduate. I've noticed that at this school, the recitations are an entirely different class than the lecture and lab, and are optional.

Does anyone know if DO schools require you take a recitation with the lecture and lab? Has anyone here gotten accepted to med school without doing recitations?

they aren't required, but some are valuable. My cell bio had a discussion that I thought would be stupid, as you just learn how to read scientific papers. Easy right? Well it was, but it was incredibly valuable.
