Hi, I'm applying to dental school next year and was just wondering.
I am going to start working with a dentist (DMD/PhD) who does only research at my university.
When I apply next year, can I get recommendation from him as a "recommendation from Dentist"?

While I had over 250 hours of dental assisting and other shadowing, I got my Dentist letter from my Research PI (DDS PhD), and I got into a number of schools, so seems like it worked out fine for me. Though call and ask your particular schools I guess, just to be safe.

Thank you very much!
