Hello All-,

So I asked one of my professors I did research with. I am a little skeptical about him because I am not sure how he feels about my research time with him. he did give me an A for the course. I continued doing another 6 months research with his group. I complained to him once because I did not understand his post-doc who was my supervisor. There was a huge language barrier. I emailed the professor and asked whether he will write me a positive letter. He said "don't worry about my letter!"

What does that mean? should i trust him since i will be waiving my rights to read it...

Stressed!

You asked him for an lor and he agreed. He is entitled to write an honest assessment of your ability/suitability for the additional studies/profession.
