Hi all
I know math counts as science GPA, so do you guys think it would be ok if I asked for the recommendation letter to one of my math professors? I will ask for another one to my bio prof.

thanks in advance

you should have atleast 2 from science professors, but most importantly from people who know you best. Having a letter from math faculty wont hurt you!!

While math may be considered as a science, I think they are looking for something from like a biochem/microbio/genetics professor. Someone who can vouch for your ability to perform well in science classes that are relevant to the material you'll be seeing in medical school.

This is a school specific question. Most schools I spoke with count math as a science LOR but there were a few schools that didn't IIRC. Contact the schools you are interested in applying.
