Next semester, I am planning to record class lectures and then use voice recognition software to have them transcribed. I would like one that has the capability to recognize the terminology used in pre-med courses and is also inexpensive. Does anyone have recommendations of a speech recognition program that has these qualities? Thank you!

Dragon Naturally Speaking has a medical version that is fantastic. Take the time to train it though, it will pay off in the end

Evernote and Onenote both have speech recognition.

Buy a damn good microphone. If it's crap, it won't matter if you have top of the line software because the software won't understand you.

I believe that sells for a little more than $1,000. :scared:

sounds like a huge waste of time.....the time it takes u to dictate it and then go back and correct the errors (not to mention train it) isn't worth it ...do yourself a favor and just type up your notes
