Hi all,

What are some recommended BCPM GPA padder courses that you recommend (obviously YMMV based on school, but what are some courses generally you would recommend)?

Thanks

Literally any of these classes since they all will affect your BCPM GPA equally (given the same credit hour value).

I'd recommend picking a class that:

1) You will do well in
2) You're actually interested in
3) Has a highly rated professor

I took computer science, bioinformatics and advanced math. Feel like the world is moving in that direction and these are good skills to have.

Comp Sci is not part of the BCPM gpa, neither are engineering classes.
Those are part of the science GPA for DO programs, but those don't take math classes into account.

Oh wow, I didn’t even know that after applying this cycle. In my mind, I just grouped all the STEM classes under BCPM. Thanks for point it out!
But would still recommend them for your AO classes!

Intro stats is mind numbingly easy. Like i felt stupid for sitting through it and wanted my money back

I'm in computing I as an elective right now ( I'm a junior and its a freshman class).
I'm so stressed out. I've done fine on the labs/ programming HW's but I keep messing up on the quizes. And out midterm is Wed and Fri ( split into two parts) and I'm so stressed. I've restudied everything and a good chunk of the new material but there's still some left and I'm so stressed it's nuts. I keep telling myself its not part of BCPM GPA but I'm still scared ****less because of it.

Neurobiology was the most interesting course of my BCPM curriculum. Taking courses you enjoy really does make them 'easier' and subsequently a gpa-padder as your motivation to study will be greater.

do ADCOMS care if you take several 1-2000-level courses Junior / Senior year, or that you do well?

I presume they are interested in seeing you do well in upper division sciences- 3 or 400 level to demonstrate you can perform past the 1-200 level.

Would a class called The Solar System fit into BCPM? Or does the course name not matter as long as it's under the Astronomy department?
