I'm (possibly) interested in anesthesiology for my residency; I have an elective coming up, and I'm wondering if you would recommend some books? I've seen you speak about the Lange and Anesthesiology Secrets. Any others ?

Lange is all you need as a med student.
there is a pocket anesthesia guide which may be helpful, because you want to be able to look things up.

Secrets is an excellent text.
Land your hands on a handbook from NMS or Current Clinical Strategies.

One might be surprised how often med students ask what book to use for their clerkships.
