Hi guys -- MS4 about to undertake a sub-I in internal medicine and other wise interested in reviewing/ improving upon my radiological imaging reading skills in preparation for my internship year. Can anyone recommend a great online resource that reviews basic imaging such as CXR, AbdXR, CT-Chest, CT-Abdomen, MRI Brain/spine, etc.?

You don't need that skill for your internship year.

What are you going into? I agree with @shark2000, as an intern, you really aren't going to be interpreting much imaging. If you are eventually bound for radiology, then just be sure to look at every study on your patients and see the abnormalities being described. You honestly won't have the time for much else between seeing patients, notes, and care coordination.

If you still insist on something, Learning Radiology by Herring is the best introductory text I have seen.

Point well taken; thanks for the recommendation maxxor.

Read Felsons. You should be able to interpret a CXR, particularly with respect to post intubation and post line placement.

Reading a CXR is not as easy as people think. Looking at the position of an ET tube or line is a different story.

CXR is a tricky study. Everyone thinks they can read it but it is hard to read with good quality.
