My counselor told me that LOR from non-science class is optional....and my friend told me that it is STRONGLY recommended to have it.

I requested LOR from my non-science professor and he said he will write LOR for me...But I don't think it would be strong because he doesnt know me well......But my science professors said he can write STRONG LOR for me.....

The LOR from non-science professor is Strongly recommended???
If it is optional, is it better for me not to send LOR from non-science professor?

I will apply UCLA, UCSF, USC, UOP, UPENN, Columbia, NYU, boston, Tufts, Case, Nova, Michigan, Temple, Maryland, buffalo

You need to go to their websites and see specifically what they need. A lot of it depends on what your major is. Some schools ask for major letters of recommendation, so it is best for you to just check for yourself.
