So how long is everyone taking to "recover" from the MCAT? I really wish I could take all day Saturday and Sunday but I'm pressed to do a big take-home final so that I can begin studying for two major exams next week. I'm just so worn out though...anyone else having trouble getting motivated to do all those things you put off?

i am trying to, but i mean to start working but i keep drifted off..
it's sunday 6pm now, and i reeeally need to finish those 3 lab reports tonight...

i'm feeling the same way...instead of studying for my biochem test tomorrow morning i'm on here reading posts.

I was definitely out of it yesterday and had to pretty much stare into space then sleep to recover, but today I had to start studying for final exams this week - otherwise I'd be out in the sun!

I am finding it extremely hard to get back to work. But my main reason is that I've recently stumbled onto SDN forums and am finding all these interesting websites to read. There are only about 3 more weeks of school and all I need to do is to suck it up as this is the last semester that truly matters for medical school application in terms of grades. The senior year ones will matter of course but not as much as the first 6.

Hopefully I get scared into working hard again.

watched memoirs of a geisha and charlie and the chocolate factory 🙂

Fortunately, I'm a non-traditional medical school applicant, and havn't been in college for some time. So no studying right now. Unfortunately, my body gets more beat up sitting there in the testing center in a desk all day, so I'm feeling some joint pain. This, along with the fact that I seem to have burned out some neurons, will demand a few days recovery time.

I have a lab paper draft and then a giant molecular bio research paper both due on Tuesday that I'm just struggling to get through. It's insane since I just want to be done with having to study for at least a day and a half, but I'm stuck with this stuff.

Oh well, I think that when I get back from my night lab on Tuesday that I'm just going to sit around, watch a movie, and knit 🙂

I still haven't gotten back to work. I've done stuff like tidy up around my place and vacuum, but I haven't pulled out the books yet. Studying for my chem lab final tomorrow is soo overrated 😉.

'tis time to start a semester's worth of reading for most of my liberal arts classes. Going to croak.........all these papers and I have not an ounce of brain power right now. I just don't want to care!

I really don't want to do anything for a while. But finals are coming up and I have big powerpoint presentation due for a class. So don't have much down time. Also I need to start prepare for the august MCAT soon =(
