I've been asked to do a training on challenging behaviors in adults with ID and/or ASD. I've done such training before, but this time had a request to specifically add in/ address designing a behavior plan so working on adding that in. The bulk of the training that is already established is about learning style, generating hypotheses from an ASD/DD perspective, antecedent / preventative supports, skill teaching etc. The two sections of the training that are being changed / added are "designing a bx plan" and "teaching new skills and your backup plan"

It's been a long time since I've written up a formal bx plan and don't have a template. Anyone have any good activities/references for teaching how to write a good bx plan, templates that are really well-organized that help staff think through those processes, or... any deidentified examples of "bad" ones that could be used for an activity? Or other ideas? I've gotta turn this training around in very short order and a little stressed about it, so TIA 🙂
