In filling out the "recommendations" part of secondaries, how should I handle it if I have a committee letter sent to all the schools, attached to which are all my rec letters from professors? Do I fill out all the professors' names under "Recs" on the secondary forms, or only the "Committee" part? I don't want to confuse the schools and make them think they're waiting for separate letters to arrive from all these people. Help! Thanks.

I would tell them to expect a committee letter - in most cases you will have to write the name of whoever signs your letter (whether it is the writer or the head of the premed committee, etc.). It's still a committee letter in that it is a comprehensive letter based on all of your LORs from individual recommenders.

Hope that helps.

That does help - thanks. So you would list just the committee letter, not the names of the individuals who wrote the other letters which are attached to the committee letter?

THANKS!🙂
