I'm not sure if anyone has been in similar shoes, but I've made the stupid and costly mistake of DUI. I was charged and convicted in 2010, and all of the necessary, probation, CS hours, AA, etc..

But how do the adcoms view this kind of "run-in" with the law?

Has anyone had similar circumstances, and have been interviewed/accepted?

If so, please share your experiences!

you can still get interviews and acceptances. just be honest and upfront about it. i know from experience, but i don't feel the need to elaborate. hopefully you matured after this experience.

Honesty in always the best policy. Hopefully you have learned from this experience and are able comunicate that ways that this has helped you grow as an individual. There is room for a brief explanation on the AADSAS app, but you could also elaborate on the situation in an interview or personal statement. Nobody is perfect.

I got accepted and I regrettably had more than a DUI. I think if your honest and can show you've matured, and enough time has passed, you will be fine. I do think I would have gotten more interviews if it wasn't for my past though.
