Target's new dispensing system, RedRx, is to begin piloting in Feb with rollout beginning in Aug. F-ing finally! Down with PDX!

So what is your verdict on Rx30? The independent I work for is changing from McKesson's Pharmaserv to Rx30 in February. I'm convinced it won't go well but hoping for a non-disaster.

Can you tell me how much the rx30 charges for a license, support, conversion, drug updates, maintenance, etc.

I talked to a few pharmacists using Redrx. Some said it's getting better for them, but I also heard that they still don't have scanners for rx hard copies, my guess is they probably don't have scanners for rx bottles either... and they are calling that a "new" system+pissed+

I'm at Target and I've heard that RedRX is going away. It had the potential to be a good system, but they had a lot of problems to work out before it was viable. Anyone have updates on what'll come in the future? I can't believe that we're still without RX Hardcopy and Barcode Scanning. It seems so archaic...

At least you are not using a typewritter!
