Referee Question

So two of my referees were professors of mine during my undergrad and are no longer employed by the university (they are nursing profs, one now heads a department at a local hospital and the other has a similar position in community care). On the referee section I am not sure what to put for their employment position/department/etc. Would it make more sense to put their positions at the university so that the reader understands how I know them? Or do I put their new jobs/positions and let them explain our history in the LOR.

I would put their newest addresses if you have them (UNLESS they are still associated with the University in some small way or another). They should mention in your LOR that they took a class with you at X university.

Thank you for your input I think thats the best way to go. Also thanks for clearing up the referee confusion rather than making an incredibly lame foot locker joke 😀
