Hi,

I am new to this part of the forum! Sorry for my questions.

I don't have a "pre-health committee" to write references, so I have to ask different professors. But many schools have slightly different requirements for letters of evaluation (some require 2 professors, some require 3, etc).

I think I am going to use AADSAS (not interfolio) for my letters directly. However, does this mean that AADSAS will send ALL my letters to ALL the schools I apply for, regardless of what that school's actual requirement for letters are?

With interfolio, do you get to pick and choose which letters go to which dental schools? It seems you also just send it to AADSAS.

It would be great if someone could clarify!

Thanks

All your letters will go through AADSAS and each school will see the same 3 or 4 letters you upload. I suggest these letters from experience of applying broadly. Two science professors, one non-science professor, and one general dentist.

Cover your bases with 2 science, 1 non-science (or 3 science), and 1 dentist. Whatever schools are outliers, will often accept a direct submission via mail from that specific person.
