If our reference is a licensed DPT, is their reference title "Dr."?

Sorry if this is a dumb question! I just don't want to mislead anyone!

I don't know if I'm right, but on my references I just put "Physical Therapist" and "Professor of Human Anatomy" for their titles

Edit: I typed those in for a non PTCAS application for my references.
