How do you guys feel about the May 31st MCAT? I really don't know what to expect. How about the curve for each section? Which section did you feel was more difficult😛S, VR, or BS? Thanks!
Lets see my reflection on the 31st...Oh yea it was the worst experience in my life. Thank you for bringing that back up. Excuse me while I sob in the corner.🙁

I think originally it was supposed to be out July 3rd, but now its around July 6th.
Why might there be a hold up on the scores? Hopefully there thinking about the 8 point curve for everyone...
8 point curve? I WISH.

I called AAMC with an AMCAS ? yesterday and while I had the guy on the phone I asked him about the 5/31 scores and the 7/6 release date. He was perplexed by the 7/6 date and wanted to know where it came from. According to the guy I spoke with, the scores could come out as early as 6/30 or perhaps first part of the week of the 4th. When I asked him if he knew the 30th was a Saturday he said yes and that scores are sometimes released on Saturdays. Sounded like BS to me, but I don't have any reason to think he'd feed me a line... or maybe he just wanted to get off the phone.

Hahahah.... I'm sorry. I'm not laughing at you or anything but I was just reading the posts that people from the 5/25 exam made on their scores and I was feeling so low but then I saw your comment here and just busted out laughing. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who feels horrible about the exam.
Pfft...you're hardly alone. The general consensus from the people here is that test is that it blew.
I just got off the phone with the MCAT people and was told that scores would be released on July 6th. One more agonizing week to go!
wow did they say why? Seems crazy making wait an extra week... What is the purpose.

No, they didn't say. I even asked me guy why the release date was moved back and he said it had always been July 6th and I know that's a lie because it was originaly June 30th, then it was pushed back to July 3rd, and now it's the 6th.

Yea, I think they looked at the test results... realized how many people they were about to screw and then decided to avoid the barrage of law suits and are going to sit tight and see what makes sense in regarding a curve...
LOL, well that is the prayer anyways.
I've come to a point where I'm not sure I want to know my score. If I don't know, I can still go to bed at night and dream about that 8 point curve giving my a 35. Once I see my scores, reality will kick in....I'm thinking........28??
Guys relax. I took the May 25th one and I thought it was the worst day of my life too. I took AAMC 4-9r and thought those were doable. Then I take the real thing and thought i completely bombed the test, and verbal was my only good section.
It turns out that I did fine on everything, and verbal was my lowest score.
Remember, you're competing against other people, not the test. You can never really figure out how you did on the test. If you did ****ty, likelihood is that others did too. If you did well, they did well.
Just relax and remember that there is very little you can do at this point. FOCUS on the next moment. Let the test go. You did your best on the test day, now its up to the AAMC to score it.
I second that. I have had someone tell me that each calculation on his physical sciences section literally took 9 minutes and then he ended up gettting a 14 on the Physical Sciences and 37 overall. People would complain no matter what. Too many calculations, not enough calculations, too conceptual, not conceptual enough, too much o-chem, not enough bio, too much bio, not enough o-chem, etc. There is no point in panicking if you don't even know your score yet.
honestly I would love a 28...
