Hi everyone,

i want to know whether all scetions require above 75 on part 1 to consider as pass. I have two sections below 75 but the status is pass with a comp.score in 80's.what should i consider it as ? some schools take pass as 75 in all sections.do i need to retake or it is a pass score to apply to univ.?HOWEVER, THE NATIONAL BOARD GUIDE DOES NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTION ABOUT PASSING OF SPECIFIC SECTION .SCORE REPORT ALSO MENTION AS PASS OR FAIL IF COMP SCORE BELOW 75.
REALLY CONFUSED.

Plz help

hi,

Don't be Confused. First of all, congrats on your passing NBDE. Second, the sectional score is not important any more. It was necessary to have above 75 in every section on a paper base old format exam. ADA will send the official report of your exam to the universities with out sectional part. It means that university will see just your comp score. so , keep going forward, and one more time congrats.
hope it helps

thank you so much zaichik.

I agree with zaichik.Passing for each subject with 75 was required earlier. But even now, very few schools[one in California] require that we score 75 in each subject. But there are many others which do not require that way.
Hope it helps!🙂
