Quick question to clarify one more thing. So if I purchase Interfolio (19 dollars for a year), all I do is print out the sheet following their guide and give it to the professor, to fill it out and seal the envelope? Then what do i do? Can I then mail it to Interfolio/AMCAS? B/c I want to collect letters, b/c I still dont know which proffs I want to use.

Also, one of my professors asked me what she should write or what i would like her to write, what should I tell her?

One more thing, is it 19 dollars only and you get to send all your LOR with no hidden fees?

first of all, have your letter writer upload the letter electronically, she would prefer this and it would make things quicker.

2nd, each electronic delivery is $4 or something i believe. so you would send one to amcas, maybe one to stanford, maybe one to albany, maybe one to puke. that would be 16 dollars.

Have them submit electronically. Letters submitted through regular mail take weeks to upload. And if you're like me, they'll come back to the professor damaged having never been delivered.

Your professor should write about your outstanding qualities that she observed. It shouldn't be generic though.

And it costs a few dollars each time you send letters to schools. I think electronic submission is $2. But it obviously costs more to submit through regular mail when schools don't accept electronic submission.

I see, and the 20 schools that AMCAS sends the letters to, you only pay 1 fee for all of them so if they require 4 LOR you only get charged for 4 for all the schools that it sends to? And if you don't do Interfolio, you can mail it yourself for free to AMCAS, as long as the teacher sealed it with a signature on the envelope?

your professor can upload it directly to AMCAS, bypassing, interfolio, i believe (2014 correct me)
