Okay, I know for D.O., if you a class with the same # of credits and same title/content, the grade can get replaced for AACOMAS...for MD, I recently heard that they average the two grades of the original and the retake.
Is this true?
Is this any different then just acting *as if* you took an additional, 3 credit course?
For example, say you have 125 credits, and 3 of those were a C. If you retake that class and get an A, would your GPA for MD applications be determined from 125 still (averaging the A and C to a B) or would it be out of 128 (treated as an "additional" class taken)
