...what EXACTLY does one need to do in order to fail this exam? I recently took it and thought I did pretty well (maybe forgot a straight leg test or not palpated a PMI here and there), but have just stumbled upon these horror stories of american students that felt confident and have failed Step 2 CS.
Are the SP graders overly critical of certain aspects? For example, the soap was making my hands itch like wild at the testing center, so once or twice I omitted the soap and washed with water only.....do they deduct points for that sort of thing? Does one lose a lot of points for ordering too many, albeit pertinent, studies in the workup (such as using one line for "TSH, B12, folate, RPR.." rather than individual ones for each test)?
Im just trying to make sense of the whole thing..... Any ideas?
