I wanted to start a thread for those who applied to Regis University, since interview invites will be send early to mid December.

Anyone in here applied to Regis this term? If so do you mind sharing your stats?

I'll start:
cGPA 3.5 pGPA 3.8
GRE: V150 Q148 W3.5
Over 120 hours of observation. I only took one of the recommended courses.
 
Does anyone know typically when they send out invites (like based off passed years)?
 
According to last year's post regarding interview offers for Regis, next week (12/4-12/8) should be the week to hear back.

Overall GPA: 3.78
Pre-Req GPA: 3.75
GRE: 153 Q, 147 V, 3.5 AW
Observation: 1550 orthopedic outpatient (PT Aide), 100 orthopedic/wellness center, 45 acute rehab unit inpatient, 42 pediatrics ***Hours aren't considered or required***
LOR: 1 outpatient physical therapist (orthopedic), 1 inpatient physical therapist (hospital), 2 professors (Ex. Physiology & A&P)
Recommended Courses: 5 of 6

Im not sure, but I recently emailed Zach with a few questions I had and he said they will be sending invites starting December all the way through mid December.
Their school will be closed for the holidays from December 25 all the way through Jan 1st.
So I'm sure everyone will be hearing from them before the holidays.
I'm thinking maybe next week?

Overall GPA: 3.6 Grad/3.33 Undergrad
Pre-Req GPA: 3.2 (self-calculated)
GRE: First time: 153 Q, 144 V, 4.0 AW; Second time: 150 Q, 151 V, 4.5 AW
Observation: ~150 hours in ped's, ortho, sports, SNF/inpatient
LOR: 2 Physical Therapists, 2 professors (Oncology Research and Biochemistry from grad school)
Recommended Courses: 4 of 6

Anyone has heard anything yet? I saw they updated the PTCAS website as well as their website from early to mid December to mid to late December.
 
I feel like Friday is a good day to send them out. Just hoping tomorrow is the day!
 
I really hope so! I have an interview that might conflict with their schedule and I want to make sure I can go to both.
 
@Snovella I saw in past feeds for colorado schools that if you had an overlap you can request a different date.
 
Yeah I applied last year and i got a reply from them on 12/15. So I'm pretty sure they'll do the same this year!
 
I just got an email from Zach. He said they are working hard to send everyone an update tomorrow afternoon, so it seems like tomorrow will be the day.

Overall GPA: 3.0 (they don't have a min)
Pre-req GPA: 3.70 (3.8 this year)
GRE: 158 Q 158 V 4.5 AW ( Second time)

EXP: 4000+ hrs as aide in outpatient
~~150 hrs volunteer at inpatient hospital

Letters: 3 PTs, 1 BIO Prof

Regis just sent out their interview emails. I am scheduled for Jan 26th. Now I must notify CU that I will have to interview Jan 27th so there won't be a conflict.

Same here this school overlaps with an interview I have else where 🙁
Plus I’m hoping I hear from UNE soon they are my first choice.
 
Well. I got an interview but it's the same day as my interview for another school (that I can't reschedule). 😢 I emailed to see if I could do the 29th but the day is full so unless someone does not RSVP for that date, I will have to turn down my interview there. SO so so bummed out.

The school I have an interview with prior to Regis won’t change it and Regis has all seats filled right now, so I won’t be able to change it either way.
I decided to keep my other interview since I know my chances of getting in are higher than the ones I have at Regis. I only took one recommended course at Regis and I still need to complete 1 pre-requisite while at the other school I am all set to go.
It sucks because I would’ve loved to move to Colorado and I’ve heard nothing but good things about this university.

Well, I got put on a waitlist to have my interview date changed. 🙁 but I'm guessing the won't be able to change it. I guess I will just keep my fingers crossed. I'm sorry about your luck though.

Yeah it really sucks! But I believe everything happens for a reason.

I got the email yesterday that I got off the waitlist to interview at Regis on 1/29! Did you try to get on that waitlist? Did you get off? Hope things are working out for you!

Nope I haven’t heard from them. I’m hoping to get accepted at UNE though. I’m waitlisted there for admissions.

I'm waitlisted for Regis interviews, just sent an email that I have an interview elsewhere for the 26th and look forward to the opportunity to interview on Monday the 29th... the emails have stated that they pull people from waitlist up to a few days before! So I made plans to visit a friend and I'll travel from my other interview to Denver to be available just in case. Crossing my fingers!
 
hey guys! did anyone hear back from regis? I got waitlisted (super bummed) but still have hopes to get in! Does anyone have any info regarding the waitlist? I know they don't rank them, but like how many students usually come off the waitlist or how many are on there?
 
I also got put on the alternate list. I'm hoping the letter they send out will give more information, but it might be exactly like the email.

yeah I hope there is more information in the letter. it stinks that it could be all the way up through August that they can pull from the waitlist

My letter was almost verbatim of what the email said, maybe put a little more formally. There was also a page stating if you had any outstanding prereqs and some requirements if you get accepted. No new alternate list information and it didn't have the tidbit from the email about being "one of our most highly qualified candidates" either.
