The ERAS fellowship application asks for a NRMP ID. But on the website, it says we can't register for it until August. So do we just apply now and wait to get that ID or is there a separate place where we get it now?

Right but I'm talking about the NRMP number for Match, not the ERAS application token. Anyone know?

My understanding is that later when you register for the match you can go in and update ERAS (note that you can still update the “personal information” portion of your app even after certifying) with your NRMP ID.

You can't register for NRPM until August so I think it is as the other poster said that you update your NRMP number on your application after you get it. When you register for NRPM it requires USMLE ID and AAMC ID so your profiles will be linked through that.
