I have been lucky enough to have been offered interview travel reinbursement from my top choice. Does anyone know how often this happens or how much this inccreases the chances I will be accepted there?

As far as I know, all schools that offer to pay travel costs do so for all interviewing applicants. It's fantastic, but only because you won't have to pay. I doubt it gives you an edge over other applicants.

Do you know if there're information on what schools pay for travel. I was under the assumption (from how my POI worded it) that not all students get funding, but now Im not sure if that was wishful thinking on my part...😕

He might have meant funding for the program itself. According to the 2008 "Guide to Graduate Programs in Clinical and Counseling Psychology", about 7 -10 % of schools reimburse you at least part of interview costs. I agree with what was said before, though, if they do reimburse, they do it for everyone.
