I just thought everyone should know that the schools that will probably reject me have just cashed my checks! lol
USC, UoP, Marquette, and UMDNJ.

I have heard these schools are almost filled for interviews... agh!

From what I understand, UoP is filled for pre-dec 1, but they have many more they will send out for dates after that, thats just what ive gotten from everything on this forum

While there's tons of good info on these message boards, there are also a lot of false claims. Don't believe a school is "filled up" unless you hear it from a staff member at that school... it is only October!

And regarding checks, I had 10 cashed last year and rejected from all... sad to be writing those checks again this year... oh well, all part of this long arduous process!

Many of us did hear directly from dental school admissions about their interview spots being filled up. This is the case for plenty of schools, despite it only being October. To be sure, you can call the schools themselves to hear it directly from the horses mouth, but people posting on SDN aren't going to make up that a school is filled up, we are here to provide information for applicants in a similar situation.

UoP is filled up for Pre-December 1st interviews, but will issue January interviews in November.

Good to know. All of this SDN talk of everything being filled up is starting to scare me as schools are just now getting my Apps. Especially since a lot of people have 3+ interivews already if not many more!
